As part of the project of performing all Bach’s cantatas in Bourgie Hall, Les Boréades in collaboration the St. Lawrence Choir presents Halt im Gedächtnis Jesum Christ (Hold in remembrance Jesus Christ), BWV 67, Herr, deine Augen sehen nach dem Glauben (Lord, Your eyes look for faith), BWV 102, Sei Lob und Ehr dem höchsten Gut (Praise and honor be to the highest good), BWV 117, and Liebster Immanuel, Herzog der Frommen (Dearest Emmanuel, Lord of the righteous), BWV 123. All four works enjoin the believer to flee worldly vanities and trust in God.
